Description
Alvar Aalto (1898-1976) was a Finnish architect, designer and academic. Since the 1950s, he has been nationally and internationally recognized as a master and one of the key figures associated with modernist architecture. Among Aalto’s numerous works are buildings not only in Finland but also across Europe and in the United States. A characteristic feature of Aalto’s approach was treating a building as a total work of art — including its furniture and lighting.
This wooden side table, an early Alvar Aalto design, is in good condition.
