Description
Aino Marsio-Aalto was a Finnish architect and designer, as well as the artistic director of Artek. In the early stages of her career, she worked in several architectural offices before joining Alvar Aalto’s firm in 1924. Aino and Alvar were married in October of that year. Marsio-Aalto worked in her husband’s architectural office, designing both in close collaboration with him and independently. She also created designs for ceramics, glass, lighting, printed fabrics, and unique textiles.
This Bölgeblick glass plate is in very good condition for its age.
