Description
Tapio Wirkkala was a Finnish designer, sculptor and master of glass design. He created numerous objects that have become classics and received many awards for his work throughout his career. Wirkkala was a versatile artist who worked with materials such as glass, wood, porcelain, metal and plastic. In addition to art glass, he designed a wide range of everyday objects and tableware. He received numerous recognitions, including three gold medals at the Milan International Triennial in 1951 and 1954.
These 1940s shot glasses are hand-painted and in good condition. The set includes 3 rooster glasses and 2 hen glasses.
