Description
Tapio Wirkkala was a Finnish master of glass design. He received numerous recognitions, including three gold medals at the Milan International Triennial in 1951 and 1954.
Originally produced by Iittala between 1948 and 1972, the Kalvolan kanto art glass vase was introduced to an international audience at the Milan Triennale in 1951. Each piece is unique, as it is mouth-blown into a special mold and finished by hand.
This art glass vase is in good condition.
