Description

The Finnish furniture manufacturer Artek has operated at the intersection of Finnish design, architecture, and art ever since its founding in 1935. Over the years, the company has also helped make Finnish design known around the world.
Artek’s furniture and lighting have become cornerstones of Finnish design and can be found in countless homes and public spaces across the globe. Most of Artek’s wooden furniture is still manufactured in Finland today.

The coat stand 160 is a modern floor-standing rack designed by Anna-Maija Jaatinen (1941-) in 1964. The coat stand keeps clothes neatly organized, as the upper wooden hooks are longer than those on the lower section. The four-legged stand features a black metal base and a solid birch frame.

Observations: Minor age-related wear on the base. One of the wooden hooks is missing a small piece. See more details in the pictures.

Size:
Hight 177 cm
Width of the base 60 cm
