Viktor Malmberg was a Finnish sculptor and art teacher. He studied at the Central School of Arts and Crafts under the guidance of Robert Stigell and, as was customary at the time, also pursued his studies abroad in the 1890s, at the Académie Julian and the Scuola Libera in Florence.
Malmberg made his debut at the Finnish Artists’ Exhibition in 1895. His most highly regarded works include a marble bust of C. E. Sjöstrand from 1894 and The Water Carrier (1924).
