Description

Yki Nummi was a Finnish designer, best known as a lighting designer. His modern lamps were characterized by pioneering use of plastic materials. In the 1950s, he designed tableware combining hardwood and plastic for the Sanka company. Nummi received several awards for his work as a designer, including gold medals at the Milan Triennale in 1954 and 1957 and the Pro Finlandia Medal in 1971.

Box is in good condition for its age.
