Description
Kantarelli is one of Tapio Wirkkala’s most renowned works and an icon of Finnish design. Designed in 1947, its form and name refer to nature, which was a major source of inspiration for Wirkkala. With Kantarelli, Wirkkala won the prestigious Grand Prix award at the Milan Triennial in 1951.
Good condition for its age.
Observations: Minor wear on the collar and on the bottom of the vase. Shown in the pictures.
