Description
Laila Zink began working at Kupittaan Savi in 1947, where she remained until 1969. At first, she worked as a decorator, and in the 1950s she created her own decoration collection. Zink’s motifs were especially women and flowers.
Kupittaan Savi was a Finnish brick and ceramics company founded in 1921 in Turku. In addition to bricks and tiles, the company’s product range included ceramic household and decorative items. The company went bankrupt in 1969.
The art ceramics wall plate is in very good condition for its age.
Observations: Production-related glaze defects, minor wear on the bottom. Shown in the pictures.
