Description
Jorma Laine was one of the most important jewelry designers of the 1960s and 1970s, who, with his unique design language, created a distinct field within Finnish jewelry art. Laine designed jewelry collections for both Kultateollisuus and Turun Hopea, and in addition, he founded his own company and workshop, Lai-For Koru. His major sources of inspiration were nature and visual art. He was particularly fascinated by the artworks of South and Central America, cave paintings, and the decorations on Sámi shaman drums.
