Inkeri Leivo was a Finnish ceramic artist. She started at Arabia in 1969 and worked in the factory’s product design department from 1971 onward. In addition to functional ceramics, Leivo also created ceramic art, lamps and unique works. Leivo was a founding member of the Arabia Art Department Society, which was established in 2003.
Pro Arabia Art Finland, created for Arabia’s 130th anniversary, is a collection of small-series, handcrafted ceramic works by seven distinctive artists. This ceramics is part of that collection.
The ceramics is in very good condition.
Observations: Minor wear on the bottom and on the stem of the leaf. Small glaze drip on the edge of the bottom.
