Description

Heljä Liukko-Sundström was a Finnish ceramic artist. She worked as an artist at Arabia from 1962 until the factory’s closure in 2016. Thereafter, she continued her work in the same factory building within the Arabia Art Department Society, where she was a founding member. In addition, she ran her own company, Heljä Oy. For industrial production, she created various tile series, clocks, boxes, dolls, mugs and the Tuuli tableware set. She was also known for her unique works. She received several awards for her work.

The ceramics is in very good condition for its age.
