Description
In 1790, the German Johan Friedrich Hackman founded a trading house in Vyborg, which later became known as Hackman & Co. Initially, the trading house focused on the sawmill industry and timber trade. There were several sawmills in Finland. At the end of the 19th century, Hackman founded the fine metalware and cutlery factory in Nurmi, and a similar factory producing such products began operations in Sorsakoski. In the 1920s, Hackman began manufacturing cutlery and cutlery sets from stainless steel.
Today, Hackman’s cutlery and kitchenware belong to the Iittala Group, which has been part of the Fiskars Group since 2007.
The set includes 19 crab knives.
The knives are in good condition. The blades are sharp and sturdy.
Observations: Hackman Finland marking in every handle. Signs of slight wear, production-related mark on every handle.
