Description
Arabia was a Finnish design company in Helsinki, specializing in the production of faience and porcelain, that operated from 1873 to 2016. Since 2016, its production has been moved abroad. Many significant Finnish designers have created products for Arabia, and the company has won numerous design awards. According to a survey, Arabia was one of the most respected Finnish brands in Finland in 2006.
The art department of the Arabia factory, founded in the 1930s, was separated from the factory in 2003 to operate independently, and it continues its activities in Helsinki to this day. Its legacy is now preserved and further developed by the Arabia Art Department Society.
Good condition for its age.
