Description
Kerttu Nurminen is a Finnish designer and glass artist. She studied under Kaj Franck at the University of Art and Design and graduated as a ceramicist in 1970. Nurminen worked as a glass artist at the Nuutajärvi glass factory from 1972 to 2007. She is best known for the tableware she designed for Nuutajärvi, as well as for her unique works created using filigree, graal and curtain glass techniques, among others.
Filigree art glass is in very good condition for its age.
Observations: Few tiny air bubbles in the glass mass and light wear on the bottom.
