Description
Maija Heikinheimo was a Finnish interior architect. She began her career as a designer at Asko from 1932 to 1935. From 1937 onward, she worked as a designer for Artek, where she was Alvar Aalto’s right hand. She designed furniture as well as complete interiors, and also created tableware. In 1959, Heikinheimo was awarded the Pro Finlandia Medal.
Very good condition for its age.
Observations: Slight signs of wear.
