Description
Kyllikki Salmenhaara was a Finnish ceramic artist. She worked as an artist, designer, lecturer and teacher. Her works were simple utility and decorative objects made of chamotte and natural clay. She worked, among other places, as an artist at the Arabia factory from 1947 to 1963. She was the first appointed artist-professor in the field of applied arts in Finland.
Very good condition for its age.
Observations: Beautiful piece, just minor insignificant age-related wear and one small scratch at the top end of the scoop handle (may also be production-related). Shown in the pictures.
