Description
Dorrit von Fieandt was a Finnish ceramic artist. She worked in her own studio from 1949 to 1954 and from 1965 to 1986. Between 1986 and 1998, von Fieandt worked as a visiting artist in the Arabia Art Department, where she had her own studio. She gained international recognition especially as a decorator at the Arabia. In 1993, she was awarded the Pro Finlandia Medal.
Rare find! Very good condition for its age.
Observations: Handmade in Finland. Minor age-related patina in the glaze.
