Description

Aimo Okkolin was a Finnish glass artist. He worked as an engraver at Riihimäen Lasi from 1937 to 1952, and as a designer from 1952 to 1970. He created crystal objects decorated with deep-cut engravings, which were often colored. He frequently used nature motifs in his work. He continued working for Riihimäen Lasi until 1976, when hand glassblowing was discontinued. After that, he worked as an independent designer.

This art glass is most likely unique and in very good condition. Rare find!
