Description
Kaj Franck is one of the most internationally renowned Finnish ceramic and glass designers. Franck designed for Arabia, Artek, Iittala and Nuutajärvi. He served as the artistic director of the Nuutajärvi glassworks from 1950 to 1973.
The Rista series designed by Kaj Franck was produced between 1952 and 1954 and sold mainly in the United States. The objects were intended for export, and for that reason the signatures feature a different spelling – Notsjoe FK.
Good condition for its age.
Observations: Tiny crack at the top edge of the vase, light signs of wear on the body, wear on the bottom. Shown in the pictures.
