Kirsti Doukas is a Finnish jewelry designer and goldsmith who served as the chief designer at Kalevala Koru from 1994 to 2010 and later as the company’s design director. She has gained knowledge of industrial processes during 30 years professional career. She owns Saarikorpi Design Ltd, design agency together with her husband.
In Millefiori-jewelry, colorful glass pieces floating in clear glass create unique floral patterns. Each Millefiori-jewel is therefore one of a kind.
The necklace features in addition three small silver flowers attached to the chain. Ball chain, length not adjustable.
In the earrings, a clear glass disc with glowing colorful floral patterns inside is set in a simple, clean-lined silver frame.
Jewellery are in good condition.
Observations: Handmade in Finland. Slight wear. In the pendant of necklace is a production-related defect in the glass mass (air bubble or glass precipitate) – shown in the picture.
